Due to order volume and our attention to the detail and quality of your order, Original S.O.E. Gear endeavors to manufacture and ship all orders within 6-8 weeks; for extremely large, complex, or custom orders, this may be extended.

SAW Vest

Another of our original products, recently redesigned under intense demand from specific customers, the Original S.O.E. gear SAW Gunner Vest is something no beltfed weapon operator should be without. This item has only continued to pick up popularity over the years, and we receive consistently common orders for it. It's in the hands of Army and Marine Corps personnel all over the world.

The vest starts on our solid base platform, and is centered around two of our SAW Drum/Spent Mag Pouches with PALS on the exterior -- ideal for pistol magazines, slim admin pouches, or other mission-specific load. This is complemented by two Gen 1 DA magazine pouches, which allows the machine gunner to carry either four total M4 magazines or two smoke grenades, increasing flexibility in case the shooter is issued an M4 as well. We have found that this combination is ideal for gunners, allowing them the ability to comfortable and safely carry a full beltfed combat load as well as supplementary ordnance. At the top of each vest panel is a velcro section, for attachment of patches or nametapes, or for attachment of velcro-backed pouches.

Our SAW Gunner Vest is extremely durable, backed by our lifetime warranty. We've hung them from poles and full grown Marines have done pull-ups hanging off of them; we're certain they will safely carry any load comfortably and securely thanks to the bombproof workmanship. The pouches are built to the same specifications as always -- more than double the material of our competition, double the rows of stitching. Mags will not wear through our pockets; they will not separate from the back or the vest, because they are are built as a complete box before they are ever sewn directly to the vest -- we don't cut corners. These vests have over 36" of adjustment for use over cold weather, wet weather, wetsuits, drysuits, body armor, or light/no armor -- one size truly does fit all and allows for complete adaptability to your mission.
